Equipment import to the CU must comply with Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TR CU).
According to TR CU, certification bodies and testing laboratories can issue both Certificates and Declarations only if they are in the Unified Register of the Customs Union. TechnoProgress is a Certification Body accredited under the following Technical Regulations of the Customs Union:
- All types of explosion-proof electrical equipment, including Ex-components and non-electrical equipment designed for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres, are subject to confirmation of compliance to the requirements of this Regulation. Verification of conformance to this Technical Regulation is binding and is only in the form of certification (there is no declaration form).
- In some cases, specific tests (e.g., electrical tests) shall be performed by an accredited laboratory, as they cannot be carried out at manufacturers’ sites.
- Certification of assembly equipment can be carried out only when all EX-components thereof are to be certified under
- TR CU 012. If it is not possible, it is necessary to get from manufacturer ATEX/IECEx referenced test reports. ТR CU 012/2011 is harmonized with Directive 2014/34/EC (ATEX).
- This Regulation establishes unified mandatory requirements for the application and performance of the safety requirements for equipment operating under excessive pressure, first released into circulation.
- To identify equipment and determine the need for a compliance procedure, three criteria are established such as working pressure, capacity/diameter, and working medium (gas/liquid, 1, 2 group).
- Depending on the values of the criteria mentioned above, the equipment operating under excessive pressure is assigned a hazard category from one to four, from which the final form of compliance confirmation (certificate/declaration) is determined.
- ТR CU 032/2013 is harmonized with Directive 2014/68/EC (PED).
- This Regulation regulates the free circulation of all machinery and equipment on the market, of all machinery and equipment, including those used at hazardous production facilities. Before issuing a certificate or registering a declaration of compliance with the requirements of this Regulation, you need to understand whether the products fall under this Regulation or not.
- This Regulation does not apply to machines and equipment used in the following areas: stability of the functioning of communication networks and the use of the radio-frequency spectrum; medicine; nuclear energy and ensuring nuclear and radiation safety; weapons and military equipment; sea and river vehicles; flying and space vehicles; railway rolling stock; etc.
- ТR CU 010/2011 is harmonized with Directive 2006/42/EC (Machinery).
- Gas-consuming devices (e.g., burners, boilers, heating devices, etc.) is subject to confirmation of compliance with the requirements of this Regulation.
- This Regulation do not cover steam boilers with a steam pressure of more than 0.07 MPa and hot water boilers with a water temperature of more than 115 °C; equipment that uses gas as a motor fuel.
- TR CU 016/2011 is harmonized with Directive 2009/142/EC EC (GAD).
- Electrical equipment operating at a rated voltage of 50 to 1,000 V (inclusive) of an alternating current and 75 to 1,500 V (inclusive) of a direct current falls within the scope of this Regulation.
- TR CU 004/2011 is harmonized with Directive 2014/35/EC (LVD).
- This Regulation covers technical means capable of generating electromagnetic interference and (or) the quality of functioning of which depends on the effect of external electromagnetic interference. This Regulation does not include components that are not designed for independent use and are passive concerning electromagnetic compatibility.
- ТR CU 020/2011 is harmonized with Directive 2014/30/EC (EMC).
For the successful completion of the certification procedure, you should provide a full package of documents as specified in different applicable GOSTs and Standards. We are pleased to assist you in developing the following documents:
- Technical Passport
- Operating Manual
- Justification of Safety
- Ignition Hazard Assessment
- Strength Calculations
We render translation services of high quality and ensure the development of bilingual documentation.
In some cases, the import of equipment into the territory of the Customs Union is accompanied not only by receipt of certificates/declarations under TR CU, yet also by specific documents pertaining to certain groups of equipment.
- TechnoProgress is a reliable partner in the provision of the following services:
